AJ Clothing began with a simple frustration: getting dressed had become complicated. Too many choices, too little that lasted, and almost nothing that worked as hard on a Tuesday as it did on a Saturday.
We started by stripping things back. A tight range of pieces in a neutral palette, chosen so that almost everything works with almost everything else. Bone, oat, camel and black. Fabrics that hold their shape. Cuts that flatter without shouting.
We are based in Australia and we design for how Australia actually lives — long summers, mild winters, and a preference for clothes that do not try too hard.
Why we started
Getting dressed got complicated. We wanted it simple again.
