Returns & Refund Policy
At AJ Clothing, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, this policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds are handled. This policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit those rights.
Returns
You may return most items within 30 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Unwashed

Undamaged

In their original condition

With original tags attached

In their original packaging where practical
Please contact us before sending any item back so we can confirm whether the return is eligible and provide the appropriate return instructions.
Items We Cannot Accept for Change-of-Mind Returns
The following items cannot normally be returned for change-of-mind reasons:

Pierced jewellery, including earrings, for hygiene reasons, unless the item is faulty or another remedy is required under Australian Consumer Law

Gift cards

Items that have been damaged through wear, misuse or incorrect washing or care
These exclusions do not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please contact us before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior contact may be delayed.
Return Postage
For a change-of-mind return, including choosing the wrong size, the customer is responsible for the return postage cost.
We recommend using a tracked postal service, as AJ Clothing cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in transit after being sent by the customer.
If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or incorrect, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and cover reasonable return postage costs where required.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will confirm whether the return has been approved.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method for the amount paid for the returned item.
Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Shipping charges or express shipping upgrades paid by the customer are not refunded for change-of-mind returns, unless required by applicable law.
Exchanges
If you would like a different size or product, the simplest option is generally to return the original item for an eligible refund and place a new order for the item you want.
For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, please contact us before returning the product so we can determine the appropriate remedy.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or is not the item you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include your order number and, where possible, photographs showing the issue.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Cancelling an Order
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests before the order has been dispatched.
Once an order has been dispatched, we may not be able to cancel it. If the order is eligible for return, you may still request a return in accordance with this policy.
Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy where a product does not meet the applicable consumer guarantees.
For a major failure, you may generally be entitled to choose between a refund and replacement and may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by the failure.
For a minor failure, the appropriate remedy may include repair or replacement within a reasonable time.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law.
